It is one of Southern Africa's foremost footwear companies, comprising three factories with an unparalleled ability in the manufacture of footwear. During my employment at Boltons Footwear the company also had 25 Shoe Retailers, 2 Building Companies and 3 Mercedes Dealerships in their group. As Manager of the IT department of the Bolton Group, I was a member of the MT and reported directly to the CEO that included planning, management, financial budgeting and development of strategy for the department and advising the Board of Directors. Responsibilities also included Project Management, Disaster Recovery Procedures and all software and hardware needs of the Group. My expertise at Bolton Footwear included the design and development of MRP, Order Processing and Debtor management systems.
